Admission Arrangements for entry to school - 2024
Making an application
Applications for admission to the school for September 2024 should be made on-line at www.lancashire.gov.uk (search for School Admissions or click the link at the bottom of this page) between 1st September 2023 and 15th January 2024. It is not normally possible to change the order of your preferences for schools after the closing date.
Parents must complete the Local Authority electronic form, stating three preferences. Parents who wish their application to this Church school to be considered against the faith criteria should also complete the supplementary form. If the school is oversubscribed, a failure to complete the supplementary form may result in your application for a place in this school being considered against lower priority criteria as the Governing Body will have no information upon which to assess the worship attendance.

In-Year Admissions
To apply or appeal for a place at our academy, the child requiring the place must reside in Lancashire. You must complete the In-Year Admission form, our Academy Admission form and the Supplementary form. All 3 forms are available to download here or hard copies of each are available from our school office. These 3 forms are to be returned to the school office. If the year group you are applying for is full and we are therefore not able to offer your child a place in our school, you have the right to appeal.
Appealing for a place in a year group with no places
You must complete an on-line appeal form (Primary School Appeals) available from the following link:

You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 2 weeks of the appeal hearing taking place.
You can appeal for a place at any school, but you can only appeal once per academic year, unless there has been a significant, relevant change in family circumstances since the original appeal hearing.
