EAL Intent, Implementation and Impact
Here at St Matthew's we are lucky to have a vast range of languages used within our walls. From this gift we have been able to create a group of Language Ambassadors who can help if another child or visitor needs something translating. Knowing multiple languages is a powerful skill and we are proud to have so many in use in our school family. Below are our Language Ambassadors and which language they help with translating into English.

Coffee Morning
Recently our fabulous staff led an EAL Coffee Morning with various pupils and parents. It was a huge success and gave us the chance to share with parents what strategies and tools we have in place to help support all of our EAL children.
