At St Matthew's we are looking to appoint our Digital Leaders from Year 5 and Year 6 for this current academic year. They are tech whizz kids and are able to help pupils and teachers with their computing. They offer training once a week to teachers and run a lunch time club for children. They also get to try out new IT equipment before it is distributed to classes.
The digital leaders will undergo a very thorough application and interview process. If you are interested in applying please see Mrs Tipton for an application form.
Our digital leaders are:

If you have any IT queries please complete the form below and the digital leaders will get back to you.
The Digital Leaders lead a fabulous assembly on Safer Internet Day to explain to pupils how children could play their part in a better internet. They recapped the SMART rules and looked at why we should embrace our differences and spread love and kindness online instead of hate. They emphasied how it is important to THINK before you post online. Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it inspiring? Is it necessary and is it kind? If the answer to any of the above, the Digital Leaders said it was probably best not to post it! Below are a couple of the videos the children shared in their assembly.
